Pricing for starting, buying and scaling a boiler company

Monthly marketing plans

These plans run the ongoing marketing: your website, listing, search visibility, ads and reporting. They come from our parent site's published pricing; the HVAC.Agency pricing page has the full detail.

Plan Price What it covers
Starter $2,998/month A website with SEO-built service pages, your Google Business Profile and local search, a basic Google and Meta ads setup, hosting, maintenance and a report each month
Growth $4,498/month All of Starter, with deeper SEO and content, paid ads on several channels, retargeting, a CRM connection, review generation and a weekly report
Elite $8,998/month All of Growth, adding video, PR outreach, your own account manager, a live dashboard, a strategy call every month and reporting built to your needs

Ad spend is paid to the ad platforms separately and sits in an account in your name.

Website packages

For a new company that wants its website built first and runs the rest itself for a while:

Package Price What you get
Essential $3,500 one-time A custom site of 5 to 7 pages, built in 2 to 3 weeks; hosting and upkeep then cost $149/month
Professional $6,500 one-time A 10 to 15 page site designed to turn visits into calls, built in 3 to 4 weeks; hosting, upkeep and conversion work then cost $249/month
Enterprise $12,500 one-time As many pages and locations as you need, built in 4 to 6 weeks; full management then costs $449/month

Advisory work: quoted in writing

The business plan, the buy-side review and the design part of an agreement launch are scoped individually. Scope drives cost: a single-town start-up plan is smaller than a plan for a two-van company covering three towns, and a review of a seller with clean records is quicker than one with ten years of messy data. You get a written quote with the scope, timeline and fee before any work starts.

What drives the cost of marketing

  • Service area. More towns mean more pages, more listings to manage and a larger ad footprint.
  • Competition. Boiler repair terms in a big city cost more per click than in a small town.
  • Starting point. A new company needs everything built; a bought company may need cleanup and transfer instead.
  • Speed. A founder who wants agreements signed before the first winter needs more done in fewer months.

How to choose a plan by stage

  • Founder, first year, one van. An Essential or Professional website plus Starter is usually enough. Spend the difference on ads in your tightest radius.
  • Buyer in transition. Starter or Growth, depending on how many towns the company already serves and whether reviews need rebuilding.
  • Scaling owner with two or more technicians. Growth, because recruiting, review generation and CRM integration start to matter.
  • Multi-location or division launch. Elite, or Growth plus an Enterprise website.

A quick check: if a Starter plan costs $2,998 a month and your average boiler install leaves $3,000 of gross profit, one extra install a month covers it. Agreements and repairs on top are the return.

Tax, by province

We charge sales tax at the rate for your province, following CRA's GST/HST rates as of October 2026. Clients in the three territories and in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan pay 5% GST. Ontario clients pay 13% HST and Nova Scotia clients 14% HST. In New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island the HST is 15%. Quebec clients pay 5% GST and 9.975% QST. For BC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan clients, provincial sales tax is charged on top only if it applies to the particular service. We give no tax advice; your accountant can confirm what applies to you.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a business plan or buy-side review cost?

It depends on scope: how many towns, how many years of records, how much is already written. We quote it in writing after a first conversation, and nothing starts until you agree.

Is there a contract?

Monthly plans have no lock-in. Anything specific to your engagement, such as notice periods or payment timing, is confirmed in writing in your proposal.

What is included in the free trial?

Over seven days we audit your digital marketing, check how your website performs, analyse your search visibility and benchmark you against local competitors. You do not need a credit card.

Which tax applies to me?

Sales tax depends on your province: 5% GST in Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the territories, 13% HST in Ontario, 14% in Nova Scotia, 15% in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and PEI, and 5% GST plus 9.975% QST in Quebec. Provincial sales tax may also apply in BC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan where it applies to the service.
