You talk to a senior strategist
A focused conversation about your goals, market and numbers.
Three ways to reach us
- Text (604) 632-4959. The easiest start. A couple of lines is plenty.
- Call (604) 632-4959. Good if you want to talk it through right away.
- Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Best when you want to attach a draft plan, a seller's summary or a spreadsheet.
Whichever you choose, you will talk to a senior strategist, not a sales queue.
What to include in your first message
Each of these details makes our first answer more specific to you:
- Your province and main town. Demand, regulators and programs differ a lot by region; see the areas page.
- Your stage. Starting, buying, or scaling an existing company.
- Your numbers, if you have them. Technicians, vans, rough annual revenue, active care plans.
- The one problem you want solved first. Calls, hiring, agreements, a purchase decision.
- Your deadline. For example, "ready before the first cold snap" or "closing in eight weeks".
Here are two templates you can copy and adapt.
Hi, I'm [Your name] in [City, Province]. I'm a licensed [your trade] planning to open a boiler service company in [month]. I'd like help with a business plan and first-year marketing. Best time to talk is [day/time].
Hi, I'm [Your name]. I'm looking at buying [a boiler company / a book of customers] in [Region]. The seller says there are about [number] customers and [number] care plans. I'd like a review before I sign a letter of intent.
What happens next
- You hear back. We usually reply within one business day, often with two or three questions or a suggested time.
- First conversation, by video, in person or by phone. We listen to your situation and tell you honestly which service, if any, fits.
- Written proposal. For monthly marketing, a plan from the pricing page. For advisory work, a written quote with scope, timeline and fee.
- Optional free trial. The 7-day free trial covers a marketing audit, website check, SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking, with no credit card.
What we will ask you not to send yet
Please do not send customer lists, financial statements or seller documents in a first message. If we work together, we will agree a secure way to share them, and buyers may need the seller's permission first.
Also note our limits before you write: we are not a contractor, and we give no legal, tax or lending advice. If your question is mainly about valuing or selling a business, the group's BizSell.ca brand is the better first call.
Meeting online or in person
Some owners prefer a video call from the shop office; others want to sit down at a kitchen table with the numbers on paper. Both work. We meet online by video call and in person, and the first conversation is usually about 30 to 45 minutes. Bring whatever you have, even if it is rough: a list of towns, last year's call count, a seller's one-page summary, or the job ad you tried last spring.
If you prefer to start with a text and keep it to text for a while, that is fine too. Many owners are on the tools all day and find a few texted lines easier than a call. We will move to a call or meeting when there is something worth talking through.
Before you reach out
If you want to think it through first, the guides cover business plans, buying a company and hiring hydronic technicians in detail, and the FAQ answers the common questions about cost, contracts and ownership of your accounts.
Frequently asked questions
Is a text really okay for a first message?
Yes. (604) 632-4959 receives texts, and a short text is a great way to start. Tell us your province and whether you are starting, buying or scaling, and we take it from there.
When will I hear back?
We usually reply within one business day. Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. We meet in person and online by video call, and we also work by phone, text and email.
Is the first conversation confidential?
Yes. Buyers in particular often cannot name the company they are looking at. Describe it in general terms at first; we can sign a confidentiality agreement before you share details.
