BoilerBusiness.ca helps people who are starting, buying or scaling a boiler service company in Canada. We write the plan, build the marketing and help hire the people. We are not a contractor, and we never install, repair or service a boiler. The licensed work belongs to you; we handle the business and the marketing around it.
Why this site exists
Most boiler companies are founded by excellent technicians. Very few are founded by people who have built a customer base from zero, priced a care plan or recruited an apprentice. The trade side is regulated, inspected and taught. The business side is learned by trial and error, usually during the first winter, when there is no time to think.
We built BoilerBusiness.ca to put that learning in front of the decision instead of behind it. The guides are free and practical. The services are for owners who want help applying them.
The group behind it
BoilerBusiness.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, serving clients across the country.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's consulting company for growth, marketing and technology. Brands under it include HVAC.Agency and HVAC.Digital on the heating side, plus Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
- SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is where the group does strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consulting for Canadian companies; Ali is its Founder & Managing Partner.
- BizSell.ca handles business sales and exits for the group, working alongside Sedighi.ca. Valuation, M&A and succession questions go there.
Our parent site in the HVAC family is HVAC.Agency, where the full plan details and case studies are published.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi has an MBA in Technology Management. He started in digital marketing in 2007 by founding a full-service agency, ONE.ir, and has 17+ years of experience since. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Since then he has founded the conversion-rate optimisation agency Conv.ca and MyAutomation.ca, and he leads SAZ.ca as Founder & Managing Partner. His clients have included businesses in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
In the heating trade specifically, Ali has built 150+ live HVAC websites. The portfolio includes boiler-focused companies such as CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and BoilerPart.ca, along with VancouverBoilers.ca, BurnabyBoiler.ca, EmergencyBoiler.ca and Boiler-Maintenance.ca. That boiler-heavy portfolio is the reason this site exists. The results page shows what three of those projects produced.
How we work
- Numbers before tactics. Every engagement starts with your service area, capacity and targets. We would rather tell you an idea does not pencil out than sell you marketing that cannot pay for itself.
- Written assumptions. Plans state their assumptions so you can test them. When reality differs, we change the plan.
- You own everything. Domains, listings, ad and analytics accounts are created in your name.
- Clear limits. We do not give legal, tax or lending advice, we do not value or broker businesses, and we make no technical or code decisions about equipment.
- Plain reporting. Calls, texts, booked jobs, agreements and reviews. No reports full of numbers you cannot act on.
Who we work with
Our clients fall into three groups. Founders are licensed technicians or small partnerships opening their first boiler company, often after years with a larger firm. Buyers are taking over an existing company or a retiring owner's customer book. Scaling owners run an established shop and want to grow past the point where the owner answers every call. We say no to work that falls outside those groups, or that we do not think will pay for itself.
Positioning, in one paragraph
BoilerBusiness.ca is a digital marketing and business consulting service for boiler and heating companies in Canada. We are not an HVAC contractor; we never install or repair a boiler or any other equipment. We help founders write a plan, help buyers understand what they are buying, and help owners recruit technicians, build an agreement base and market the company.

Frequently asked questions
Who will I actually work with?
Ali Sedighi leads the strategy and the first conversation, and the work is delivered within the Sedighi.ca group. You always deal with a senior strategist who knows your plan.
Are you part of a larger company?
Yes. BoilerBusiness.ca belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, whose other brands include HVAC.Agency, Trades.Agency and BusinessConsulting.ca.
Why only boiler companies?
Because a boiler company's problems are specific: winter demand spikes, a thin pool of hydronic technicians, parts that vary by brand and age, and customers who stay for decades if you look after them. Narrow focus means better advice.
Do you work outside Canada?
This site serves Canadian boiler companies. Ali's wider work includes clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
